Autarco Launches Revolutionary Mounting Rail

Autarco has launched a new Apex rail for mounting solar systems on pitched roofs. The new rail is an original Autarco design and a major improvement over its predecessor. The rail has numerous design advantages for installers.

Roel van den Berg is the founder and CEO of Autarco, the first brand that integrates individual  components in complete single-branded solar energy systems. All systems come with a kWh  guarantee. According to him, there wasn't a mounting rail for pitched roofs that was truly useful in all respects. "Even the Autarco rail wasn't good enough. The clamps sometimes fell off the rail too easily and there were several bits needed during the same assembly. That was inefficient." 

After talking to installers and hearing about their experiences, Van den Berg started designing his own new mounting rail. He created a revolutionary rail that is ready to use and needs minimal additional stock products. All advantages of the Apex rail for pitched roofs: 

- 15% lighter and takes up 40% less space -> more convenient in storage and transport 

- Only one tool necessary (hexagon 6 mm) -> more efficient

- Clamps have a snap -> falling less rapidly from the rail 

- Clamps are adjustable in height -> suitable for all thicknesses solar panels 

- Screw thread is extruded -> rail bolts superfluous 

- Handy cable slot -> cable clamps unnecessary
