Sonnedix Named ESG Global Solar Power Generation Sector Leader By GRESB
Sonnedix, the global solar independent power producer (IPP) has been named, for the third consecutive year, the global Solar Power Generation Sector Leader for its outstanding leadership in environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in the 2020 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment, being awarded the maximum five-star rating.
Each year GRESB assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance of real assets worldwide and monitors progress towards global sustainability goals. GRESB Assessments are based on the sustainability performance of real asset investments and are aligned with international reporting frameworks.
The GRESB Sector Leader Awards Program recognizes real estate and infrastructure companies, funds and assets that have demonstrated outstanding leadership in sustainability. Sonnedix achieved an overall GRESB score of 94 out of 100, against a peer average score of 52. The 2020 results award the global solar IPP an overall maximum rating of five stars as well as establishing Sonnedix as the PV Power Generation Sector Leader for sustainability performance.
