Everoze Creates Skyray To Design And Engineer Great Solar PV Projects

News

Technical consultancy Everoze has today formally launched a new company called Skyray. Skyray's experienced team will provide design, engineering and site services to owners, developers and EPCs in the large-scale PV market (including new-build solar-storage).

Skyray has been set up to increase the range of design and engineering services available in the market, reducing a potential bottleneck to the growth in solar PV required to address the climate emergency. Skyray offers long term owners an enhanced ability to leverage their increased influence over the design and construction of projects. This shift of emphasis is particularly important as these owners are now buying pre-construction projects and seeking to extend lifetimes to 30 or 40 years. Skyray will do so by applying lessons learned from the GW's of projects that Everoze and the team have worked on to date.

Olivier Crepon - Managing Director with 20 years of experience leading engineering service companies in energy notes: “Despite the lockdown, the need for new solar PV capacity grows more pressing every day. Long term investors are responding - buying in earlier and increasing their influence over project design and construction. Skyray offers owners an enhanced ability to use this influence to deliver high-quality, long-life solar PV infrastructure assets”

Founded in Lyon by Everoze, Skyray is a new company purely focused on design and engineering services for large scale ground-mount PV (including new-build solar storage) and commercial rooftop. The 5-person, pan-European team brings together recognised solar PV experts, an experienced management team, and easy access to Everoze specialists and network. Together the team offers many decades of solar PV experience.

Fabian Villacampa Investment Director at Mirova notes: “We have been working with Everoze for several years now and are consistently impressed with the quality and flexibility of the service. We are excited about the launch of Skyray and see a clear need for high quality design and engineering services. Having previously worked with Mike Carter and Christophe Campistron we already have a positive impression of their personnel. We welcome Skyray to the market and look forward to working together in future.”

Although only formally launched today, business has already been brisk.
