Wagner Renewables Strengthens Voltec Partnership

News

European PV module manufacturer Voltec Solar has renewed it's partnership with West Sussex based renewables distributor Wagner Renewables. Following the buy out of their German shareholder and reestablishment of their UK business as a 100% UK venture, Wagner Renewables has streamlined its portfolio to a number of core brands with Voltec Solar positioned as the key product for the residential market.

Wagner Renewables Managing Director Mark Osborne commented, "We have been working with Voltec Solar for almost two years now and the number of customers switching to this product for domestic systems is growing rapidly month by month. Voltec Solar offer a 20-year product warranty and homeowners find comfort in this as it matches the lifetime of the FIT."

The Voltec Solar range is made up of 60-cell modules that are all positive tolerance. 72-cell modules as well as glass-glass frameless or framed modules are also available from Voltec Solar. They are made with high quality materials and engineered with precision, making these modules the embodiment of European product quality. This is backed up by an industry leading 20 year product workmanship guarantee, which for the first time matches the length of the feed-in tariff, thus providing unbeatable security for homeowners investing in solar systems.

Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of French-German Voltec Solar Markus Schaefer spoke from the company's headquarters in France, "At Voltec Solar we are very pleased to strengthen our position in the UK market with the help of Wagner Renewables. Since we launched in the UK early last year, we have carried out projects for a variety of clients including leisure parks, manufacturing sites and even commercial projects for household names like Red Cross in the UK. The team at Wagner Renewables are very knowledgeable about the products they offer so have a high customer retention rate which has helped us to build our brand enourmously in the UK."

Wagner Renewables' Osborne went on to note, "With the EU price undertaking still in place, there are many underhand deals taking place which has reintroduced unknown brands with questionable quality, which only serves to confuse the industry and undermine the credibility of our sector. Voltec Solar originates from an organisation with a long history in manufacturing spanning more than 20 years. The company is fully backed by the world leading reinsurer Munich:Re so installers can benefit from the peace of mind of providing their clients a secure and credible option."
