GTi Launches Hybrid Solar System
This year GTi, manufacturer and distributor of insulation and ancillary plumbing, heating, drainage and retrofit products, revealed their ALL-IN-ONE Solar System. The one of a kind system, revealed in the Energy Saving Home exhibit, is MCS Accredited and can be attached to a roof or placed in a garden and uses solar energy, collected through its panels, to heat domestic water.
The panel incorporates a 150l water tank actually contained within its unit as well as an absorber and pump-circulated system. By using a PV-driven circulating pump the fully autonomous system doesn't require any other external power source.
As the first system of its kind on the market, this CEN Solar Keymark Certified ALL-IN-ONE Solar System can boast savings of up to 65% for energy used to heat water in the home and is a qualifying product to receive payment under the Government's Renewable Heat Incentive scheme (RHI). In addition, the panel features an elegant design displaying no visible tank and easy assembly that only requires a water inlet and outlet to be connected - truly leading the way in affordable solar solutions for the home.
Neil Morton, Technical and Strategic Manager at GTi, said: "GTi is proud to launch the ALL-IN-ONE Solar System as the first product like this anywhere on the UK market.
"By having the water tank actually built-into the panel the unit is completely self-contained and is as simple to connect to a water inlet as a domestic dishwasher.
"This product is truly revolutionary: not only is it hassle free but it's finally an affordable solar solution for the family home meaning that some of those who need to save the most now really can."
