Solarmax And CCL Begin UK Partnership
Swiss inverter manufacturer SolarMax has expanded its distribution network in the UK with a new partnership with specialist PV inverter supplier CCL. From March 2014, CCL will begin taking deliveries of the SolarMax P series and MT series string inverter ranges for distribution to solar PV installers across the UK.
Paul Brooks, Managing Director of CCL, states that: "As CCL is continuing to grow, we wanted to add another high quality, competitive, European manufactured string inverter range into our portfolio, whilst SolarMax was looking to partner with a progressive technical distributor keen to showcase their products. We particularly liked the battery storage upgrade option offered by the SolarMax P series range, providing installers with potential repeat business from the same customer, and end users with a future-proofed inverter."
Andy Lycett, Wholesale Manager of SolarMax UK, commented that the deal underlines the commitment SolarMax is making to the UK PV market: "SolarMax has undertaken a huge investment in the UK recently. This deal with CCL provides great synergy, and is a signal of intent for 2014 and beyond."
The deal was finalised last week during the Ecobuild trade fair where SolarMax presented their latest product portfolio.
