China Sunenergy Receives MCS

News

China Sunergy has announced that it has received a certificate under the UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme issued by BRE Global, subject to periodic review and verification, for its mono and polycrystalline solar photovoltaic modules produced at its Turkey plant.

The MCS is a certification process, which complies with the UK Government's criteria for eligibility to access financial incentives supported by the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change. The MCS tested and certified that solar photovoltaic modules manufactured at China Sunergy's Turkey plant comply with the MCS' technical standards.

With the certificate received in 2011 for its Nanjing and Shanghai manufacturing plants, the Company has now successfully received MCS certification for mono and polycrystalline solar photovoltaic modules produced at all of its manufacturing bases.

Stephen Cai, CEO of China Sunergy, commented: "We are pleased with continued progress at our Turkey plant. The MCS certification is a major step toward strengthening our business in Europe, and we will continue our efforts to ramp up productions at our Turkey plant to further capture the market opportunities in Europe and surrounding areas."
