SolarMax Partners With Major PV Wholesaler Solfex

News
The Swiss inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering (SolarMax) has announced they are to partner with Solfex energy systems, one of the UK's largest specialist independent renewable energy suppliers. Solfex will provide their UK customers with the highly efficient, Swiss quality string inverters of the SolarMax P, MT and S series, and accessories for residential and commercial PV systems.

Solfex energy systems is one of the largest distributors of high quality renewable energy systems in the UK. The company specializes in solar thermal and photovoltaic power products, Air Source Heat Pumps and Underfloor heating systems.

"We are very pleased to welcome Solfex as one of our main distribution partners. This partnership will enable us to exploit the synergy potentials between Solfex's and our high quality standards and both companies' philosophies," says Neil Martin, Sales Manager UK at Sputnik Engineering. "Together, we will work on increasing the PV energy supply in the UK, especially by providing the growing residential and small commercial sector with efficient and reliable products."

Solfex's Managing Director Stuart Cooper commented: "We are delighted with this new partnership with SolarMax because their Swiss manufactured product range is synonymous with quality and reliability; the range will complement our existing portfolio of products and will be fully supported by our PV sales team."

SolarMax string inverters - Powerhouses for maximum yields .

The SolarMax P series inverters, with an output power from 2 to 5kW, are specifically designed to meet the needs of roof-mounted systems on single homes or apartment buildings. Equipped with a dual tracker concept, difficult conditions such as east-west arrangements or an odd number of modules can be easily mastered. Through natural convection the inverter is being cooled passively which assures high operational availability as the devices are less prone to malfunctions and failures.

On the basis of their high levels of efficiency and flexibility, the MT series inverters rate amongst the most effective of SolarMax products. The three-phase devices are equipped with two or three MPP trackers with an output power from 6 to 15kW. The light and compact design, as well as the easily accessible connections allow for quick and simple installation. The MT series are designed for medium sized home installations as well as for decentralized large-scale plants.

SolarMax's S series inverters are extremely small, can be handled comfortably, and are reliable and powerful. They can be mounted very quickly and extended easily and deliver an output range of 2 to 5kW.
