SolarTech Meets Green Deal Status
SolarTech is one of the first renewable energy specialists to achieve "˜Green Deal Installer' status across a wide range of measures under the under the Government backed Green Deal scheme.
The company meets the new PAS 2030 standard to install Solar PV, Condensing Gas Fired Boilers, Under-floor Heating and Heating Controls plus a number of renewable energy solutions, including Solar Thermal, Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps.
PAS 2030 sets out the stringent standards of competence, covering the installation, management processes and customer service, required by an approved installer in order to carry out Green Deal measures.
"As an early adopter of the installer certification scheme, we are already up and running and ready to work in partnership with Green Deal Assessors and Providers in order to deliver complete end to end energy saving solutions that will benefit homeowners and businesses," said Shaun Taylor, managing director of SolarTech Ltd.
SolarTech has a successful track record as a renewable energy installer, working with a wide range of public and private sector clients across the country.
A strong advocate of the Green Deal with considerable experience, the company was invited to give keynote presentations to cross party audiences at both the House of Commons and the Welsh Assembly in order to promote the wider benefits of the scheme.
Operating since 2003, SolarTech Ltd is Gas Safe registered, MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) accredited and a member of a number of trade organisations including The Solar Trade Association, The Renewable Energy Association, The Micro Power Council, CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme), as well as being Renewable Energy Assurance Listed.
