Solarlec Celebrates Independent Review Success
Solar panel customers across the UK have given a Lancashire company top marks for service in an independent review.
Solarlec has been awarded a 98% customer satisfaction rating for 2012 by the Independent Warranty Association, which provides renewable energy customers with deposit protection and insurance schemes.
Solarlec has maintained its high score for customer satisfaction for three consecutive years, receiving 98% for 2011 and 99% for 2010, despite challenging trading conditions due to public confusion over changing government subsidies.
Solarlec director Ged Rowbottom said: "Keeping our customers happy before, during and after their solar panels have been installed is a crucial part of what we do. We train our staff to deliver the highest levels of service and it's fantastic to see our efforts recognised for the third year.
"With energy prices rising almost on a daily basis, investing in a sustainable source of energy like solar power is a great option for homeowners and business owners."
Last year, Solarlec installed more than 1,000 solar PV panel systems in homes and business across the UK.
The company has now received accreditation to supply solar thermal and biomass boiler systems as part of ongoing expansion plans.
