Wagner Solar UK Appoints New Chief
Wagner Solar UK Ltd, the UK branch of German solar power and solar heating supplier, system integrator and manufacturer Wagner & Co Solar Technology; appoints Mark Osborne as Managing Director of Wagner Solar UK Ltd, where he will lead the company's operations and business development.
Osborne is a founding member of the Wagner Solar UK team and has served as Director overseeing Finance and Key Account business. He has been responsible for setting up relations with some of the UK's most respected project developers. Osborne takes up his new challenge as the industry enjoys overwhelming public support for solar energy albeit with the challenge of legislative intervention that has the potential to threaten stability.
Commenting on his appointment, "Most in the industry will agree that 2013 has begun with commercial projects leading the market. We have begun the year busier than ever and are pleased to see increasing numbers of systems deployed with the commercial racking systems that were previewed at last years' Solar Power UK show. As the year progresses, we will continue to take our engineering knowledge and design expertise to increasing numbers of project developers so we can help maximise client value and project return."
Osborne takes over from Carsten Pump who leaves Wagner Solar UK to concentrate on other interests in the solar industry.
