Phono Solar Receives 1000V Certification

News

Phono Solar has announced that its monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic (PV) modules have been tested by Intertek to the UL1703 standard, receiving ETL certification. This confirms their capacity to receive 1000V of maximum system voltage and demonstrates their suitability for use in high-voltage large-scale PV power plants.

Eric Yuan, Marketing Manager at Phono Solar, said: "Our polycrystalline and monocrystalline modules receiving ETL 1000V certification is another demonstration of our products' suitability for high-voltage large-scale PV projects. This certification demonstrates that our modules provide a secure investment in terms of efficiency and output."

1000V systems reduce the number of parallel modules required saving operation and maintenance costs, whilst providing system balancing. These systems also reduce the internal consumption of a power station and promote the overall electric energy production of the system, maximising profit for end users.
