Cold Food Distributer Saving Energy Costs With Solar
The UK's largest cold food storage distribution provider, The Yearsley Group, has saved over £43,000 in electricity bills over the last year thanks to five further solar photovoltaic (PV) installations. Waxman Energy designed and supplied a total of 5,000 Phono Solar 200 solar panels covering an area of over 7,000 sq meters and producing one megawatt of power, reducing the amount of harmful carbon dioxide released into the environment across the five sites in Newark, Bristol, Coleshill, Grimsby and Seaham "“ with the group continuing to use Manchester-based Solar Choice for the installations.

Before the installation, Waxman Energy consulted thoroughly with Solar Choice to ensure the most efficient system was designed to best capitalise on the Yearsley Group's locations to harness as much power from the sun as possible.
