Trina Road Show Hits UK

News

Trina Solar Limited confirmed its continued commitment to the UK solar industry as it launches its national road show for the UK. Since the launch of the Feed-in Tariff scheme in 2010, there has been a large increase in the number of installers in the UK. Trina Solar is now seeking to cement its relationships with the installer community by offering a broader range of services "“ both in their product range and in back-up support. The new roadshow and the Partner Plus Programme for installers are Trina Solar's answer to a rapidly maturing UK solar industry.

Ben Hill, Head of Europe at Trina Solar, said: "The roadshow is a significant step for us in the UK. Strong relationships with the installer community are a critical part of our success in this market. We are literally meeting installers on their own doorstep to explain the different ways that we can provide support.

"The roadshow signifies not only the success of the Partner Plus programme thus far, but also responds to the feedback from the installer community. The continuing demand, demonstrates that the UK solar market is still strong for us "“ in fact, the UK is now amongst the three top growth markets in Europe."

During the roadshow, installers will experience first hand the unique benefits of the company's innovative products, solutions, and services. They can find out how Trina Solar makes PV installations quicker, simpler, and more efficient. Dedicated Trina Solar experts will be holding a series of live demonstrations and providing installers with practical tips.

Seeing the road show is an effective way for installers to get a better understanding of Trina Solar. James Mountain, renewable planner at Anesco Limited, commented: "As our business develops, having a partner that is able to provide support beyond the solar panel is increasingly important." Training, products and other services create better value for installers and means that they do not have to work with as many suppliers.

Richard Rushin, UK Sales Manager for Trina Solar concludes: "We expect to see strong growth in the UK market. While we have seen some fluctuations in orders between our residential, commercial and PV park customers, a more stable tariff structure combined with increasingly cost effective production and rising energy prices will continue to make solar PV an attractive offer for all of the UK market segments, including the residential sector. For example, Trina Solar provide an innovative mounting system to reduce the time it takes to install panels, allowing installers to make reductions on their business costs."
