Lancashire Solar Firm Expands Sales Team Across UK
Lancashire solar panel company Solarlec has appointed new sales staff as it continues its expansion throughout the UK. Solarlec, which had a turnover of £12m last year, has appointed seven new energy advisors following a rise in demand for its solar panel systems across the country.
Three of the advisors will be based in the Cornwall area, while the other four will cover Milton Keynes, Birmingham, South Wales and the North East respectively.
The new advisors bring Solarlec's sales team to a total of 26 members of staff, supported by 21 staff members at its Burnley head office and six three-man installation teams which cover the whole of the UK.
Ged Rowbottom, Solarlec director, said: "We are thrilled to be able to create new jobs across the UK and continue to thrive during difficult trading periods.
"This shows that there is still a huge demand for solar and consumers are keen to start benefiting from the attractive savings and earnings on offer. "We look forward to continuing to expand our team of highly trained and experienced energy advisors across the country."
