Sanyo HIT Gets A Rebrand

When Panasonic took over Sanyo one of the promises made
was that the value of the Sanyo brand, especially on their HIT PV products
would be maintained. However this has turned out to be inaccurate as Panasonic
has now rebranded the product to Panasonic HIT soalr modules.

SANYO has been a full subsidiary of Panasonic since April
2011 and will become fully integrated into the group by the end of March 2012.
As part of the merger, the global corporation has undergone a full
restructuring, resulting in three major business fields (Consumer, Devices,
Solutions) with 9 domain companies. SANYO Component Europe's Solar Business
Division will become part of the Eco Solutions domain company, which will now
manage sales and marketing activities for products designed to provide
customers with an easy and affordable eco lifestyle.
