Name Change For SANYO

SANYO Component
Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO), has announced
that as of April 1, 2012, the branding of its HIT, will change from "SANYO" to
"Panasonic".




The company has also announced on its website that from
April 1st 2012 on, SANYO Solar will be called Panasonic Solar. They state this
process will not affect HIT customers in terms of warranties, functionality and
sales channels. SANYO has been a full subsidiary of the Panasonic Group since
2009. SANYO Component GmbH will continue to manufacture the HIT solar modules
in European production sites.
