MO3 Adds Industry Veteran To Board
mO3 announces Ray Noble joins the Board of Directors
mO3 Power is pleased to announce that solar power specialist Ray Noble has joined their board as a non-executive director. mO3 Power is a UK-based solar developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP). The company develops, builds, owns and operates quality large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) parks.
Ray Noble was a member of the UK Government's renewable advisory board from 2001 to 2006, and has been a member of NE England Energy Leadership Council since 2007. He is currently the solar photovoltaic specialist at the Renewable Energy Association. He was an associate director of building engineering at Arup until 1999, where he was largely responsible for developing the company's involvement with Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).
Mr Noble later became UK Manager of BP Solar, developing the use of BP Solar products on buildings. During this period, he was instrumental in organising the BP Solar/Roamag partnership to develop and manufacture BIVP products.
He then assisted in the development of the NaREC PV Technology Laboratories in Northumberland and designed many of their extensive BIPV demonstration projects in both the UK and Europe. In 2006 Mr Noble founded Solar BIPV Ltd PV Consultancy to provide technical support to customers in the application of BIPV .
