ET Solar Receives UK Order

News
ET Solar announces an order volume of 50MW from the United Kingdom for 2011
ET Solar Group, a China-based photovoltaic ("PV") system turnkey solution provider and integrated manufacturer of PV products, announces a total of over 50MW of contractual and framework module sales agreements with UK PV distributors and installers for 2011.

Since a feed-in-tariff policy was introduced early this year in the UK, ET Solar has made considerable headway into this fast growing market. In the third quarter of 2010, ET Solar received a UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme certificate from the British Standard Institution on both mono and multi-crystalline modules. This has made ET Solar the second Chinese solar module manufacturer that received such highly authoritative certification in the country. Among the landmark transactions that ET Solar completed in the UK so far in the year was a 1,000 residential rooftop project grid connected in October, where ET Solar module performance was highly praised by both installers and investors.

"We are very excited with the UK government joining forces with its continental European counterparts to promote solar energy with the very impressive incentive program that it put in place. In fact, even before the program was introduced, the country was already a high priority on our market development list," Mr. Dennis She, Chief Executive Officer of ET Solar, said. "As an early bird in the UK PV market, ET Solar is very well poised to expand our presence and further build up customer relationships in the UK market in 2011. Capitalizing on our vast experience in total customer satisfaction in other markets, we will make every effort to devise and deliver tailor-made promotional programs and packages for our UK customers and maximize value creation for our long term partners."
