TSMC Makes IC Insights Top Ten

IC Insights reported its Top Ten semiconductor companies in terms of sales.

Intel comes top with $23.99bn, Samsung has the No.2 spot with $8.73bn and Texas Instruments was third with $6.50bn.


Europe's STMicroelectronics had sales of $6.35bn to gain the next place. Infineon Technologies was No.7 with $5.36bn.


Taiwan foundry TSMC entered the list at No.10 with $4.66bn making it the first ever Taiwan company to make the Top Ten grade.
