Beginning immediately, ASML Thermal will outsource its supply chain management and manufacturing operations worldwide to a new Ashland Fab Services facility in Arizona. ASML will continue to lead all R&D and new product design activities. It also will be solely responsible for worldwide sales and support for its products.
Ashland currently serves as the factory authorised refurbisher of ASML Thermal vertical thermal reactor (VTR) and APCVD processing systems. Thermal represents one of the company's underperforming divisions inherited from ASMLs merger with US company SVG.
