SOLARWATT and BHC Distributors to present solar and storage training day
SOLARWATT, German pioneer of high-performance dual-glass solar PV energy production and storage systems, is contributing to an initiative to introduce installers in Ireland to the latest solar PV and battery storage technology.

Solar and storage experts will share their knowledge at the Thursday 2 February introduction and product training day, hosted by BHC Distributors (www.bhcdistributors.ie), to help businesses gain a product and marketing edge in the solar PV market. As well as providing detailed product information and practical demonstrations, guest speakers will hold one-to-one discussions after lunch. Delegates will have an opportunity to participate in BHC's SMART SOLAR installer programme.

Pol Spronck, International Sales Manager of SOLARWATT, will address the Tullamore event on the German company's dual-glass panels and MyReserve battery storage. Martyn Johnson, Sales Manager UK and Ireland, Schweizer, will discuss solar PV mounting solutions for pitched, trapezoidal and flat roofs. Christian Schröder, Key Account Manager at Delta Energy Systems, will speak on commercial inverters and monitoring systems.

"Solar PV with battery storage is certain to become an attractive and affordable option for Irish home owners and businesses wishing to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint," said Pearse McHenry, Managing Director of Ballycastle-based BHC, a SOLARWATT distribution partner. "We are delighted to be able to provide a special product training day which will introduce our quality product range and unique, market-leading proposition, SMART SOLAR. This event highlights to installers and potential installers the quality of the products we use."

MyReserve, the first SOLARWATT battery storage system, has been installed at several locations in Ireland. The company's market-leading dual-glass panels come with 30-year product and performance warranties "“ the longest in the world.

SOLARWATT is expanding following a substantial investment by Stefan Quandt, of the family that is the largest shareholder in BMW. All solar PV modules and MyReserve battery storage products are manufactured at the company's facilities in Germany, so customers benefit from very attractive solar PV + storage packages.
