Seiko Epson And Cambridge Display Technology Have Agreed To Form A Joint
Seiko Epson and Cambridge Display Technology have agreed to form a joint
venture company to offer technologies and services using ink-jet deposition
for manufacturing light emitting polymer (LEP) displays. The deal comes
after several years of joint development work involving the two companies.
The new venture plans to produce an ink jet printing machine with Epson's
print head. The inks will be produced from formulations specified by CDT for
these heads. The new company is to be called

support centre for its customers in San Jose CA.
JMAR has been awarded $1.6m to enhance processes at the Defence
Microelectronics Activity's "Advanced Reconfigurable Manufacturing for
Semiconductors" foundry (with the appropriate acronym ARMS).
ANADIGICS has opened a 900m2 expansion to its semiconductor fabrication
facility located at its headquarters in Warren NJ. The company invested $10m
in the expansion, doubling fabrication capacity. The additional capacity
will enable ANADIGICS to increase its production of 150mm InGaP HBT wafers.
The expanded facility includes Class 10 cleanroom space.
