Bonus Solar Become BSUK's Sole Distributor For UK & Ireland

News

In the same week which saw Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, signal a renewed focus on the UK's energy policy and fellow politician, Barry Garnder, launch a campaign against rising business rates on solar installation, Bonus Solar (part of the Bonus Group) signed an exclusive deal with British based Battery Storage UK (BSUK) to become the sole distributor of their products across UK & Ireland.

BSUK are at the forefront of technology for the future, especially where battery storage is concerned. Their products boast the ability to work alongside existing solar installations, as a retro fit, and also as a hybrid in conjunction with new solar installations.

By future proofing their products in preparation for electricity tariffs, such as the pending "˜Economy 7', ensures that the batteries can be installed in to any home or space, extracting and storing electricity at cheap rate times - costing you less. Furthermore, they're one of the only battery storage products in the UK to work with and alongside micro inverters meaning that current end users with solar installations can add battery storage to their system with ease.

BSUK's Managing Director, Michael Orr, declared that "it's fantastic to have agreed terms with Bonus Solar. They're the ideal partner to help distribute our products. We're excited to get them to market and begin to help people save money whilst contributing to the bigger renewable energy picture."

The fact that BSUK complete the manufacturing of all of their products in the UK, coupled with Bonus Solar's ability to provide ongoing sales, support and maintenance, makes the product even more attractive according to Bonus Solar Sales Manager, Sarah Wallace:

"It's great for us and we're really excited by it all. We're constantly seeing how other countries around the world are excelling in the solar markets and it's about time we caught up. By being able to offer this complete service from within the UK, we are more than supporting the industry; it's a huge boost for our economy and renewable energy ambitions as a nation too."

Together, Bonus Solar and BSUK will be collaborating to deliver training days and exhibitions throughout the year. The first exhibition will take place next month in October at Birmingham's NEC, allowing potential customers to familiarise themselves with the products.
